This major release marks the transition to Zen Package Manager (ZPM), unifying
software installation, system management, and utility tools.
I've added support for external packages like Librewolf, Mullvad, and
Signal, alongside high-performance bundles for gaming and development.
The update also features automatic Nvidia driver installation, significant kernel-level
optimizations to prevent stuttering, and a fresh visual overhaul for the Login Screen, Plymouth, and
Installer. Zenclora Fetch has also been updated to display version codenames.
Zenclora OS is replacing Zenclora Commands with ZPM (Zen Package Manager) in the next major update. ZPM will provide much broader software support. It combines both software management and system management in one unified tool. Many applications not available in Debian repositories can now be installed via ZPM.
An interim release has been published to fix bugs and introduce tested improvements. Several issues have been resolved and new commands have been added. Hardware compatibility has been significantly improved - Zenclora now supports a much wider range of devices. Performance settings have been balanced and refined for a smoother experience.
Zenclora 1.0 has been released! Zenclora uses the GNOME desktop environment and offers a Live mode for testing before installation. If you like what you see in Live mode, simply reboot from USB and select the Install option. Zenclora uses the official Debian Installer developed by the Debian team. Internet connection is required during installation.
